BLACK LIVES MATTER: ART+PRACTICE

At its most powerful, art transforms its viewers into the agents of change it envisions. Since its founding in 2014, Art + Practice’s objective has been to create a structured space in Leimert Park for critical reflection and work where foster youth raised by LA’s foster care system are supported and where artists of color are celebrated through museum-curated exhibitions. As we reflect on the past few days, we acknowledge those who have protested in a fight for racial justice for Black Americans. We stand in solidarity with the belief that transformation is made possible every day. Together we will make a difference.
