MURAKAMI’s REVIVAL:

Quite a stunning collaboration between Japanese artist Takashi MURAKAMI and American Designer Virgil ABLOH! That exhibition at Gagosian, Beverly Hills is their third collaboration but really the first one at such large scale.

We feel a deep commitment to each piece -canvas as well as neon- yet a great respect of each artist for the other with an excellent balance of the two talented artists.

Indeed Abloh is confirmed as a genius multi tasks-hyper-creative person who indubitably lead Murakami to get out of his comfort zone as an artist. Exactly the kind of revival Murakami needed at this stage of his career..
