ABOUT THE FAIR:
“PAREDIOLIE” comes from greek « para : beside » and « eidos : form, appearance ». So, a paréidolie is an association of a visual stimulus and a well known element, often of animal or human shape.
Since its creation in 2014, PAREDIOLIE, the international contemporary drawing art fair takes place every last week-end of August, in Marseille -South of France- with an increasing audience.
Its small size -15 galleries for 500m2- allows to manage high quality and friendly atmosphere.
Due to its success many partners such as Museums and Art centers of the region have joined the fair by creating a « Drawing season » throughout the whole city of Marseille with many shows that last through the fall season.
The remarkable group of Founders: Françoise Aubert, Lydie Marchi, Martine Robin and Michèle Sylvander only driven by their passion for Contemporary Art, have created an amazing popular yet highly professional event that every city should follow. For this Fourth season they chose curator Chiara Parisi as President of the Selection Committee:
