Pascale Marthine Thayou is the most inventive artist of his generation with a work ranging from drawings on paper to installations in situ.
Most of the time he uses recycle items to distort their meaning. Once assembled the pieces are transformed into majestic artworks.
His work is constantly, regularly evolving with creativity and energy to form the most magnificent body of work from an African Artist. And from what we see, it sounds like the artist doesn’t concede one penny to the Art market or more precisely to the Occidental Art market which is rare! BCh
