ART FAIRS: Salon-S Zürcher in Paris
New OFF initiative by the Zürchers in Paris

The Zürchers continues to move the lines of showcasing Art!
Gwenolée and Bernard Zürcher are the owners of Zürcher Studio in NY and galerie Zürcher in the arty/edgy street of Paris, rue Chapon – 3d District, 5 mn walking distance to Beaubourg/Centre Pompidou –
Not only they have created these original “Mini OFF art fairs”, in 2011, in both sights NY & Paris, consisting in hosting galleries known for their edgy styles, they now start to extend the concept to the whole Chapon street in Paris!
It is such a smart and obvious idea that, once it’s on, we all wonder why it didn’t exist before?
Imagine one second that, that crazy smart Uber/Arty/idea expands
What is the condition to make it happen? Only a hub of galleries can do it. That’s all. And every Capital got its own hub of galleries. Just think about Los Angeles, it could be so possible to make it: Bergamot station, La Cienega Blvd, East Down town LA. Each galleries from there could host 1 or 2 or 3 galleries and vice versa with the hosted galleries.
What is the benefits compare to the traditional art fairs?
There is no competition here. Diversity is the major component of contemporary art. Both operating modes are complementary. The trendy/edgy mood brought by the Salon-S Zürcher obviously helps the IN Fair, FIAC to bring different and new art collectors on their field and vice versa of course.
